Life has its bright moments, but it can also have its dark side. When you find yourself spending more time in the dark times than the bright times, it's time to come and see a therapist. I can help you come back into the brightness of life and teach you how to spend most of your time there.

I am a caring, compassionate therapist who counsels couples and individuals who want to get the most out of their lives. Depression, life coaching, marital/couple issues, bipolar are my specialty and I have over 20 years of counseling experience with all the the above to help you.

Destiny Morales

Psychotherapist, MSW, LSW

Throughout our lives, we often may face various unique challenges that serve as a turning point for change to occur. Many of these challenges present an opportunity for us to learn and grow into more resilient versions of ourselves. However, despite our efforts, there are times where we may feel that we have become stuck or lost in these moments as the challenges become more difficult and intense to deal with. All human beings likely have been there at some point. You are not alone! This is why I went to get my masters degree at Rutgers School of Social Work to become a therapist. I believe that everyone has the capacity to change and grow into the best versions of themselves if they really want to. I have experience working with individuals from various populations, such as adults and adolescents, who struggle with issues related to their mental health and/or relationships that affect their overall daily functioning.

Therapy is a great opportunity for you to learn the best skills necessary to help yourself persevere through these challenging times, while you receive genuine support as you grow and develop into the best version of you. While this journey may look different for everyone, I am dedicated to exploring various ways in which we can effectively work together as a team, to better understand and learn about you and any challenges being faced in both a safe and judgement free setting, as you determine what direction is best for you to meet your goals

Lindsay Tuman

Psychotherapist MSW, LSW

Life can be challenging at times and I believe that with the right tools, skills, and resources you can begin to live the life that you want for yourself. I have a wide range of internship and professional experience with children, youth, adults, and families across the lifespan. A majority of my work has been with emotional and behavioral challenges. I can assist you in creating a plan for yourself that works for you even when you feel like this can be an impossible task. I have a wide range of experiences working as a Disability Professional where I have assisted individuals in adapting to new circumstances after acquiring a new disability. I have worked with various individuals with multiple disabilities including those who have acquired a Spinal Cord Injury, facilitated a group with individuals effected by Traumatic Brain Injuries and have worked with state and local government on various policy and law changes.

Sometimes the smallest steps lead to the biggest changes. An area of focus I truly believe in with my clients is the Strengths Perspective; finding your strengths even through hard times.

Wendy Whitbred

MSW, LSW

I was born and raised in New Jersey and earned my Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers.  I spent many years living in Alabama to get away from harsh winters and returned to New Jersey in 2019 to be closer to my family.

I worked for nearly twenty years as an advocate with people with disabilities.  As a person with a disability, I know that when someone has or acquires a disability, visible or invisible, some people may try to take away your personal power under a guise of caring. An “I know what is best for you” attitude means you must live with the consequences of their decisions.

It is easy to give up, give in and doubt yourself whether you have a disability or not.

I believe strongly that people have the right to make their own decisions even if those choices are difficult or limited. Support and caring empower people to move forward when they are “stuck” in their lives. “To get to where you’re going you need to start from where you are” is not a strangle hold on the obvious. Rather it is a reminder that a safe relationship can become a place to explore choices and perspectives that help us move forward in personally meaningful ways.
